Digital Strategist

Talk Think Do are a Microsoft Partner who have grown out of a consultancy practice. We have a very strong technical background and are focussed on combining cutting edge technology with a deep understanding of user needs to solve complex problems for our clients. We are currently investing in business development to win new clients and require a Digital Strategist to lead the delivery of existing client & new business projects. As a Digital Strategist you will be responsible for providing consultancy and guidance to clients and for running discovery projects. This will include new and in-flight projects for existing clients, including projects which form larger programmes of work.

  • Based in our newly refurbished offices in the centre of Wimborne
  • The role is offered on a permanent basis
  • Salary £40K - £65K dependent on experience

Your responsibilities

  • Own, run and deliver discovery projects. Working closely with the client to understand their needs and working with analysts, UX, designers and architects to design innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Determine and define build project scope and objectives to deliver fully costed build and run proposals as part of discovery output.
  • Contribute to pitches, proposals and pre-sales for new clients
  • Develop and deliver roadmaps, high level plans and detailed plans as appropriate
  • Review resource requirements to ensure capacity and actively manage
  • Assist with backlog creation & prioritisation
  • Stakeholder management, both internal and external

Essential to have

  • Highly proficient digital expert, with a minimum of 5 years digital product or agency experience
  • Demonstrable experience delivering discovery projects, proposals, piches or consultancy.
  • Proven experience of balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity
  • Resilient & pragmatic with the ability to facilitate technology teams and clients
  • Ability to communicate to, and between technical and non-technical team members & stakeholders
  • Be able to manage different perspectives and priorities through to a satisfactory conclusion
  • Be able to build strong trusting relationships with clients, showing empathy for client challenges
  • Positive attitude, constantly striving to deliver the best customer experience possible for both internal and external customers

Desirable to have

  • Experience running digital discovery projects for clients
  • An good appreciation of UX (user experience) practice
  • A good commercial head and previous involvement in business development
