Talk Think Do are a young Microsoft Partner who have grown out of a consultancy practice. We have a very strong technical background and are aiming to be the go-to Microsoft Partner for building and operating business critical Azure solutions using AKS and modern DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering practices. We develop cloud-native solutions with consumer and enterprise mobile applications and web front ends. We are looking for a .NET developer with a particular strength in Xamarin and mobile technology, but a willingness and ability to work across the stack.

  • Based in our newly refurbished offices in the centre of Wimborne
  • The role is offered on a permanent basis
  • Salary £35K - £60K dependent on experience

We use

  • Mobile development using Xamarin Native and Xamarin Forms on Android and iOS.
  • APIs and web front ends using the latest C# Dotnet Core, Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Azure SQL databases with other supporting data technologies such as Redis, Azure Search and ElasticSearch.
  • CI/CD using Azure DevOps pipelines with GitHub source control.
  • Infrastructure as Code approach using Pulumi.
  • Comprehensive monitoring, APM and alerting using DataDog.

Your responsibilities

  • Work with product owners, customers and the rest of the team to understand requirements and design and implement great solutions to their problems.
  • Work with support teams and site reliability engineers to ensure we maintain an excellent service to our customers.
  • Take ownership for secure, high quality solutions through to production with modern DevOps solutions.
  • Study for relevant Microsoft certifications to support our partnership with Microsoft.

Essential to have

  • At least 5 years of experience working with .NET using C#.
  • At least 2 years experience of mobile development using Xamarin.
  • Experience working with app store and enterprise mobile deployment.
  • Great communication skills and attitude.
  • A willingness to work learn and work across a number of different stacks, be it backend, web or mobile.

Desirable to have

  • Experience working with Azure.
  • Experience working with VSTS, Git and CI/CD.
  • Experience with Umbraco or other .NET CMS
  • Experience with front end technologies; CSS, Javascript and HMTL.
  • Experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Experience of building mobile apps using React Native or Flutter.
